Odisha crushed Team Rajasthan by nine wickets in their fourth and last Plate Group-B match of the Senior Women One-day League at Nimpur Ground here today. This was the second win for Odisha, who finished at the top of the group with 12 points.
Three players put up nice performance for Odisha. Among them, captain Madhusmita Behera and Gangotree Behera bagged three wickets each, while international Madhuri Meheta top scored with an unbeaten 32.
Uttar Pradesh also registered their second win, upsetting the applecart of Bengal by eight wickets in another match of the day at Sunshine Ground here. Uttar Pradesh also completed their league engagements with 12 points from four matches, but only to finished second in the group on the basis of net run rate. However, both Odisha and Uttar Pradesh qualified to compete in the Senior Women Super League, scheduled to be held at Kolkata from October 15 to 18, 2016.
